On Pegasus' Wings supports children with disabilities, families and recovering veterans in problem solving settings outside classrooms and clinical environments; enabling them to confront obstacles in their lives through interaction with  horses. Our mission is to integrate programs with family counselors, physical therapy organizations, state social service agencies, and local mental health centers.

Our physician supported programs are not focused on teaching individuals to simply ride horses but rather to empower them with emotional and physical growth and accomplishment. Our therapies teach individuals about themselves and help them to overcome physical and emotional challenges and dysfunctional patterns in their lives. By encouraging individuals to overcome obstacles with these tools we can help them to regain confidence and belief in themselves for a brighter future. Our workshops are not intended to replace medical care for those who need it but are designed to help individuals with their own self discovery. 

We are building our infrastructure in the Austin, Texas area through partnerships with breeders, land owners, volunteers and contributors. We invite you to contact us for student enrollment, volunteerism, program sponsorship and contributions. We are chartered as a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of our future generation's potential. 

Funds raised through our programs and events cover the costs of our animals, training and services to our clients. We are planning a capital campaign to acquire a dedicated facility for the programs in the Spicewwod area so that we can expand our programs to the individual clients as well as their families.
