1. How is On Pegasus’ Wings supported?

We receive support from donors, event income and exhibitors at our events. Boys & Their Toys Austin is an annual event which accepts donations for live and silent auctions from local vendors and contributors.

2. What will my donation support?

Your donation will directly support our equine therapy programs and the care and boarding of our horses and expenses related to the facilities that we operate at.

3. Is my contribution tax-deductible?

On Pegasus Wings is a 501(c)(3) public charity and operates under these guidelines. Our application was approved on December 31, 2009. The organization has also received tax exempt status from the State of Texas. .

4. What is On Pegasus’ Wings Employer Identification Number (EIN), also known as a Federal Tax Identification Number?

Our Employer Identification Number is 27-0605301

5. Why does my credit-card statement read "PayPal" instead of "On Pegasus Wings" when I make an online donation to Pegasus?

On Pegasus’ Wings works with PayPal to process your online donation. They provide secure and efficient services which are reliable and trusted.

6. Is it safe and secure for me to donate online to On Pegasus’ Wings?

In a word: yes. PayPal uses Secure Sockets Layer technology to encrypt all data submitted to and from our donations web page. SSL renders donors' personal information, including credit-card information, unreadable to any outsiders. SSL is supported by all major web browsers, including Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. (To find out if your browser is connected to a secure transaction server, look for a locked gold padlock in the lower right-hand corner of your IE or Firefox browser.) Additionally, your personal information will be stored on PayPal's servers, which are heavily guarded, both physically and electronically. To further shield your credit card numbers, PayPal does not directly connect its firewall-protected servers to the internet.

8. Can I make a recurring online donation?

Yes, on our donations web page, you can schedule a monthly, quarterly, or yearly gift to On Pegasus’ Wings. In fact, we encourage it! Just visit our "Contribute to our Cause Page" and select the option that best suits your budget. 

9. How do I cancel my recurring online donation?

Easy. Simply return to our "Contribute to Our Cause Page" and click on the "Unsubscribe" button. PayPal will walk you through the rest. If you have any problems, please direct questions to info@onpegasuswings.org  or call us at 512-850-4464.

10. Can I make a gift in honor or in memory of someone?

Yes, you can choose either option from our online donations page or by including the information with your check or money order sent to On Pegasus’ Wings.

11. My company matches my gifts to 501(c)(3) organizations. Is On Pegasus’ Wings eligible to receive this type of match?

Yes, On Pegasus' Wings was recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization on December 31, 2009 and contributions are retroactive back to August 2009.

12. Will On Pegasus’ Wings rent, sell, or trade my personal information?
